If your organization has enabled this feature, featured collections serve as a way to curate and promote content for your entire organization. It is also the mechanism to publish to publicly accessible portals.
Your portal hierarchy can be created in advance of relevant content being uploaded or once content is already on the asset management system. Go to the Featured collections tab and begin to build out the framework to organize your collections. For this example, the categories are 2023 Events and 2023 Tournaments and additional categories can be added simply by selecting the + and naming your collection.
Within each of these top level categories, additional layers can be added. For example, 2023 Events has a 2023 Community Relations collection and then within that, there is a 20231201 Holiday Toy Drive collection as well as a 2023 Tennis for Everyone collection. Further collections can be added just by clicking within or beside the collection depending on where the additional layer is needed.
Once this framework is built out, collections are ready to be promoted and made publicly available.
